Solution for Efficient Wastewater Disposal: Czech Standard Two-Layer Septic Tanks
"We increasingly encounter situations where the water management authority prohibits us from connecting to the sewer system due to full or overloaded capacities. In such cases, we have two options for managing wastewater: using a cesspool or a septic tank.
A septic tank is an ideal solution consisting of three chambers. Solid waste remains primarily in the largest chamber, while water overflows into subsequent chambers for further purification. Microbes and other cleansing methods inside the main chamber gradually break down the waste, unlike in a cesspool where waste simply accumulates. As a result, there's less frequent need to empty the sludge from the septic tank.
The water that exits the septic tank undergoes primary purification. Therefore, it's advisable to install an underground sand filter after the septic tank, which further cleans the water to a secondary stage.
This treated water can be infiltrated on your own property, stored in a tank for technical use (such as watering, car washing, etc.), or even connected to rainwater drainage systems, streams, or ponds.
