Operation principle:

The sand separator works by slowing down the flow of wastewater and separating impurities. Emulsified fats float to the surface, while coarse mechanical inclusions remain in the basket. Smaller particles settle at the bottom of the basket, while suspended solids are retained on the surface of the laminar module plates. Floating fats and mechanical impurities are captured by the partitions inside the waste basket. Clean water leaves the separator and is gravitationally directed into the sewer collector.

The separator must be placed on a level surface and the sink drain should be connected to the separator's inlet. The outlet should be connected to the point where the wastewater is discharged. Sewage pipes with socket connections or flexible corrugated pipes can be used for connection. Before use, the separator must be filled with clean water.
